Busy Weekend

On Friday, we added another girl to our family. Here's the newest addition...an 8 week old female bloodhound named Pearl (as in the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean).

Hopefully I'll be able to get better pictures soon...it's hard to capture a constantly moving target.



Saturday, we went to Reed's 4th birthday party (Colin's best friend). I think Madelyn had more fun than Colin did. He kept telling me that he wanted it to be his birthday again.




Sunday, we traveled to Jonesboro to visit with my family that lives there and my aunt, cousin and her little girl who came in from out of State. As soon as I upload the rest of the pictures from our visit, I'll post more. Sarah...if you got any good pictures please email them to me!

10 Years Already?

Since our 10 year high school reunion is coming up, I thought I'd post a picture from our senior trip to Cancun! I can't wait to see everyone and catch up!

Snow Day

Here are a few pictures from our snow day! We had a blast. Colin wasn't too sure of the snow at first, but soon realized how fun it was; although he did not like being hit with a snow ball!

March 6, 2008.

It's been quite a while since I posted anything on here. Not much is going on other than the crazy Arkansas weather we've been having lately. Last weekend it was in the 70s, Tuesday morning is snowed, yesterday it was 65 degrees and tonight we could get several inches of snow and possibly more tomorrow! I hope it does snow enough for Colin to play in it. When he woke up on Wednesday morning he went running to the window saying it was snowing, only to be disappointed.

On another note, Madelyn will be 1 on March 21st! Where has the last year gone? She's on the verge of walking and wants anything and everything that Colin has. I don't have a clue why she's having a "princess" birthday party when she would be very happy to have a "Hot Wheels" Party and have cars of her very own that she doesn't have to share!







It was snowing in this picutre, but my camera didn't pick up the snowflakes. Colin was very happy to see snow. Hopefully, I'll have some more snow pictures tomorrow!

I have wanted to set up a blog for a while now so that our family/friends can keep up to date on our lives. Well, let me rephrase that...mainly the kids’ lives! Anyhow, I hope to keep this thing updated, at least, weekly. I’m not much on “blogging” so I will mainly be posting pictures, but, if you’re like me, you would rather look at pictures than read anyways!

Here are a few pictures that I have on my computer at work. For Colin's 3rd birthday (1/14), we took him to Chuck-E-Cheese for the first time. He had a blast and can't wait to go back. We also had a pirate-themed party on the 20th.

Now it's almost time to plan Madelyn's 1st birthday party. Since I made Colin's pirate ship cake, and it turned out very well, I think I'll take on the challenge of making Madelyn's cake. So far, I have it narrowed down to a tiara or castle cake.
