Happy Birthday, Colin!!!

I can't believe my baby boy is 4 years old today! Looking back at the pictures, it's hard to believe he was ever that small... 7 lbs 14 oz & 21" long compared to 40 lbs & 41" tall as of today.

Here is the b-day boy at his transformer party last Sunday with his Optimus Prime cake that his mommy is very proud of! It took quite a while to decorate, but it was well worth it.

I've been really slacking on this blog lately, but I'm sure I'll have more than enough pictures of the upcoming holidays to make up for it!

Here is Colin preparing for his first weekend/overnight trip to deer camp

Madelyn had to try on Colin's coat

Colin doesn't like to share his nap space!

Madelyn eating her favorite meal...dot dogs (not a typo - this is what she calls hot dogs) & cheese. I think she's afraid her daddy is going to steal her cheese, so she crams as many pieces of food in her mouth as possible.

Madelyn just being Madelyn - she'll do just about anything for a laugh...especially from Colin

Colin can write his name!!! Of course it had to be on a magnadoodle and he wouldn't pose for a picture, but I was so proud I had to share - even if it is just a picture of his name.

Here's our other "baby" girl, Pearl. And, no, that isn't a child's size bench...she's just that big, but oh so sweet!

Fun Weekend

The weekend before we began the bathroom project, we went to Fayetteville to visit Kelley & Chad and go to the Razorback game. We had a great time and always hate to come home to Pine Bluff...it's such a depressing town.

For some reason Madelyn loves eating lemons. She makes a horrible face after every bite, but keeps going back for more.

Madelyn kept wanting to love on her daddy...she's such a sweet girl.

Of course, Colin had to get him some love as well. They really love each other.

We also took the kids bowling for the first time. Colin had a blast and Madelyn enjoyed pouring water on my lap and making me look like I peed in my pants. Thank goodness I was the one with the camera and no one got a picture of that! Also, the hand air dryers in the bathroom help the situation too.

Jeffrey & Colin

Colin kept telling me "I Win" every time his ball knocked down a pin! He was so proud!

Of course, no trip to Fayetteville would be complete without a trip to the park!

I'm not sure who had more fun!

Bathroom Remodel...to be continued

What started out as a week-long project, has turned into a several week project, but it's going to look great once we finish.
Before

During
Bye-Bye ugly 1960s green tile! Jeffrey got out all of his frustration on the sink!

Here's our "Oh s**t" moment when we realized that the flooring underneath the shower was rotten.

Colin loved helping me paint the bathroom

As you can tell, Jeffrey (with lots of help from Pops) replaced the rotten floor and has has started putting down new tile. Hopefully we will be through soon. Jeffrey is not too fond of sharing a bathroom with me and the kids. He told me I have "too many products" on the counter!

To be contniued...

Kisses from Madelyn!

Here's Colin with his new fireman helmet that amplifies his voice. I'm not sure what we were thinking because he is loud enough without the amplifier.

Madelyn loves Care Bears! She started out at the other end of her bed only holding one bear, but when I went in to check on the kids before I went to bed, this is how I found her...

Busy Weekend

On Friday, we added another girl to our family. Here's the newest addition...an 8 week old female bloodhound named Pearl (as in the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean).

Hopefully I'll be able to get better pictures soon...it's hard to capture a constantly moving target.

Saturday, we went to Reed's 4th birthday party (Colin's best friend). I think Madelyn had more fun than Colin did. He kept telling me that he wanted it to be his birthday again.

Sunday, we traveled to Jonesboro to visit with my family that lives there and my aunt, cousin and her little girl who came in from out of State. As soon as I upload the rest of the pictures from our visit, I'll post more. Sarah...if you got any good pictures please email them to me!

Here's Amy giving me her best one-eyed pirate impression...

Colin & Amy riding in the dump truck at the mall. I'm sure you can guess who picked out their ride. Amy probably would have preferred the pink & white van in the background.

10 Years Already?

Since our 10 year high school reunion is coming up, I thought I'd post a picture from our senior trip to Cancun! I can't wait to see everyone and catch up!
